So i have finally got the Eibach Prokit Springs and Dampers, but haven't put them on. My question is how good is the bag system.. I use my car everyday and i mean like 20k to 30K miles a year for work. Will the bag kit like BigAl, Mol and Steve have hold up to those conditions? If so.. how long.. what kind of maintenance am i looking at?
I'm trying to get some ammo for the wife.. lol she has friends that are bagged and said their are all kind of problems with the bags blowing and loosing air.. and me being stuck somewhere with now way home..
Thanks for the input..
Bags are, from what I hear pretty much the best suspension you can buy. I don't know first hand, but no one ever complains about the UAS system.

Chris and I have lowering Springs (thanks to a certain awesome someone :) ) and riding on those things are almost like riding in a go-cart, luckily the seats are nice and cushy. Chris is really wanting to get bags...Maybe at Spring-fling. Good luck with the ammo for convincing of the wifey!

no problems with my bags, I use the the Airlift kit unlike the above guys that i think all are using UAS. The ride is perfect

Well, from my time on the forums over at CustomMagnums I haven't heard anyone complain about their bags.

so i wouldn't have to worry about a bag busting while i'm 1000 miles from the house? I think the ride would be better no doubt.. just wanted to make sure the parts would hold up under a LOT of miles.. like i said.. 20K to 30K a year...

you shouldn't have any issues at all man. the only thing that I anticipate, I "MIGHT" have to replace the rear bags in a few years, and that's a big might

As long as you run everything the right way, you will have no problem. For the valves, tank, lines...you got to make sure you use teflon or the "goo" on all of the threads to ensure air doesnt leak. The bags are made of rubber....very durable, shouldnt have any problems. I used AirLift in the past and it was great. The guys with UAS say it runs just fine....I think where the problems come from are piecing together your own kit and making your own brackets and things of that nature (not an attack to any of the mini truckers! Just saying...) If you have the funds, do it brother!

If your really worried about it you can put together a road side repair kit..

I have slam bags on my truck and although it is not as big as your car it rides great. I am going to be upgrading to airlift 2600's soon.
But for the most part if the bags and air lines are all installed correctly you will have 0 problems with the system. So get that thing bagged and post up pics of the progress.

the front struts are replaced by airstruts, and that's all for the front. in the back you have the 2 airbags BUT keep your springs.

sounds awesome man! You're gonna absolutely love em!Make sure you get a whole kit instead of piecing one yourself, more issues that way. Best options are Airlift EasyStreet, comes with a superb digital controller, keeps you informed on EVERYTHING goin on with the system OR UAS and upgrade to the Dakota Digital Controller (kinda pricey), imo. Either way its gonna look ssiiiicccckkkk !!!!!
