Again another shaved door post..

This time..

What did you do to make sure your not stuck breaking your window because you can't pop the door open?

Well so far personally, here's what I plan..

1: Don't have remote? Remote dies?

Hidden push buttons somewhere, or maybe not so hidden in the bed, since I can lock my tonneau cover. Probably have a hidden key some where, and make you have to put the key in and turn it on to send power to it.

2: If battery dies on the truck?

Going to mount these bad boys under the front bumper some where I can sneak jumper cables to. Don't know if I am going to wire to positive cable going to relay to solenoids, or just the truck.

OR

Putting a remote/seconary release cable for hood, so I can just jump battery.

3: If all else fails or both solenoids go bad?:

Hidden cable to pull one of my doors. Probably use a bike or choke cable. Hidden some where, and possibly locked with a small pad lock or something..

how about a retnal scanner that starts a generator to charge the battery by nuclear explosion??

Sorry.. had too much mountain dew for lunch!@ lol

In all seriousness.. that sounds like a good plan!@

I had to do both of these on my Neon with the shaved doors! I put a flip switch under the car so i could open if I lock the keys inside, which I have already done three times. LOL Then I ran a heavy duty cable from the battery to the underside front of the car, so if the battery dies, I can attach jumper cables to the heavy duty cable and any bolt on the frame. Works for me!!!

Hope this gives you some ideas!!!

Nice, that should be reassuring to know that it these precautions work.
