I own one. Its a 97 and the trannys suck ass.

I have roughly 6k invested in this heap but I love it. I have never been stuck. I am actually the guy that gets called when everyone else need pulled out of the mud.

^drove a 93 around for quite awhile, but it was 2wd.... so worthless, lol

Yeah, the closest most of these trucks get to "off roading" in so cal is when they curb it.

The wife has a 98 grand.... its a nice vehicle ... over 105 on the odometer.v8 still strong... only problem we have had is a error code which no one seems to be able to cope with... keeps beepin and says some sensor is bad... only thing... been replaced a couple times in the shop

I had a 2001.. I liked it.. the tranny wasn't bad.. but i sold it after 6 months..(divorce) lol

Too bad! I've sold mine last year.
It was definitely a good ride and it has done me great service, but we all like something new don't we? :sgrin:
