I Messed up!! help

I rebuilt the motor in my truck step by step in the book, it cranks over but it doesn't get a spark in the distributer


wtf is the deal?
anyone know?

What engine? 5.2 or 3.9? You running MSD? Are you getting spark from the coil?

are you getting a good spark from the coil? are the ground straps hooked up? Is the coil getting power?

bad coil, hooked up backwards, bad ground, dead battery (ok sorry about that one)

lol the battery is brand new the only think that is old is the block and tranny, the rest i bought brand new before putting on (other than all the wires)

-okay - what year motor? , computer controlled?- if so make sure crank sensor
hooked up / good ,

- CHECK : crank sensor hooked up/good , grounds, check diagram in manual
